One of the firm’s main practice area’s is intellectual property and trademark law which also extends to patent rights and copyrights including but not limited to brand, patent, industrial design and models.
In general, our services in this area are the following;
- To advise clients about legal protection options of trademark, patent and intellectual property rights in general
- To draft and review the licence transfer contracts, know-how, license, copyright and royalty contracts related to intellectual property rights
- To object to registration applications of third parties and defend our clients against TPI
- To file claims for the cancellation of TPI decisions
- To represent clients in their legal proceedings with respect to intellectual property rights’ violation (civil and criminal law matters)
- To assist in, amongst others, emergency cases (in particular custom areas) in obtaining preliminary injunctions from authorised courts
- To file claims with respect to pecuniary, non-pecuniary and nominal damages
